daeast is a brand established in partnership between the Institute of Hadong Green Tea and professional developer DIBL.

CEO Chang-man Park played a major role in the growth of the Sulwhasoo project by Amorepacific, leading the development of the brand’s core products. He later went on to found professional cosmetics developer DIBL and, as part of its collaboration with renowned brands domestically and internationally, developed cosmetics products for daeast in partnership with the Institute of Hadong Green Tea. Together with the institute, DIBL plans to cultivate daeast as a beauty and healthcare brand based in green tea and traditional medicine.
The Institute of Hadong Green Tea is a research and development institution specialized in green tea, founded in Hadong County of Gyeongnam Province in 2006.
With its foundation in Hadong’s history and tradition as a cultivator of tea since the Silla Period 1,200 years ago, the institute has played an important role in Korea’s industry for green, fermented, and other teas. It not only looks at the raw materials and products of tea but also has a keen interest in its food applications and for the beauty and healthcare sector, initiating the development of cosmetics using research on the efficacy of green tea in 2015. As a food analysis center and eco-friendly certification and audit agency, the institute develops trustworthy raw materials and products with a strong sense of responsibility for safety.
